When the print is the product, the finish is the difference.
People judge premium in the hand, before they read a word. That judgment is the finish.
Accent Luxe is the finishing studio behind print that has to feel expensive: hot and cold foil, registered embossing, soft-touch and spot UV, heavyweight, cotton, and duplexed stocks, and precision die-cutting. On business cards, invitations, folders, hang tags, and packaging. Manufacturer-direct in Montreal and proofed on your real stock, so what you approve is exactly what your customer holds.

Frequently asked questions
- Can you combine foil, emboss, and soft-touch on one card?
- Yes, combining finishes is exactly what the studio is for. A single card can carry a specialty stock, a painted edge, a blind deboss, a foil mark, and soft-touch with spot UV, spec'd together and proofed on your real stock so the finished object is one considered piece, not a stack of add-ons.
- Do you proof the finishes before the full run?
- Yes, and it is the step that protects a premium job. Foil, soft-touch, and emboss look and feel completely different from stock to stock, so we proof the combination on your actual material. What you approve in the hand is what your customer receives, not a flat approximation from a proof printer.
- Is luxury finishing only worth it in big quantities?
- No. Premium finishing suits short, high-impact runs, a founder's business cards, a limited invitation, a flagship product's hang tag, as much as larger ones. Tell us the piece and the quantity and we quote the finishes that fit the budget, since some effects are more economical at certain run lengths than others.
- How is this different from a regular printer?
- Most printers send foil, emboss, and die-cut to an outside finisher, which adds time, cost, and a hand-off where things go wrong. We finish under our own roof in Montreal, so we control the pressure, registration, and result, advise on what a stock can actually take, and keep the whole job on one accountable timeline, in French, English, or both.
